Counseling Style
My approach to counseling centers on uncovering the root causes of personal growth and creating individualized solutions. I emphasize the importance of a trusting, collaborative relationship. To support my clients' growth, I provide tasks, exercises, and self-assessments, recognizing that much of the transformation occurs between sessions.

No life is free from pain. Often, it’s through our struggles that we grow.

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions, find clarity, and build strength - seeking support is a natural step toward mental well-being.
In psychotherapy, we begin with an introductory phase of 1-4 sessions to discuss the therapy process, assess compatibility, and set clear expectations. Once we decide to proceed, we develop a customized therapy plan. Each session typically lasts 50 minutes and is scheduled weekly, although the overall duration varies according to individual needs and goals.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic depth psychology, drawing from diverse methods to treat psychological and psychosomatic concerns. Together, we address your mental and emotional challenges, fostering self-reflection and growth. The therapeutic relationship provides a unique space to explore relationship patterns, enabling you to improve reactions and connections with others.
Common indications for psychotherapy
• Ongoing feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or depression • Anxiety, chronic worry, or frequent panic attacks • Struggles with managing stress or adapting to major life changes • Emotional distress following traumatic events, such as abuse or accidents • Relationship challenges or conflicts with family, partners, or coworkers • Low self-esteem or a diminished sense of self-worth • Concerns related to eating habits or body image issues • Difficulty controlling anger or managing intense emotions • Experiencing grief or loss, including prolonged or complicated mourning • Intrusive, repetitive thoughts or compulsive behaviors (OCD) • Unexplained physical symptoms affecting daily life, with no clear medical cause (e.g., somatic symptom disorders) • Impulsive actions, risky behaviors, or difficulty making sound decisions
The Process
We ideally meet once a week via 50-minute video calls over a period customized to your needs. At the outset, we define your counseling goals, discuss your concerns, and explore your background. I also pay attention to the unsaid (or "transference") and provide feedback on my impressions. Together, we develop a deeper understanding of both conscious and unconscious influences on your challenges, allowing for new, flexible perspectives. This creative process uncovers potential solutions, which we transform into practical strategies for daily life.
Your advantages
• Quick access to counseling services
• Convenient online sessions, accessible anywhere
• Easy communication via email or chat
• Flexible scheduling and frequency of sessions
• Privacy assured, with no sensitive data shared with insurers or employers
Please Note
My online counseling services are not suitable for individuals experiencing severe mental health conditions, including acute suicidal thoughts, severe depression, bipolar disorder, addiction, schizophrenia, acute psychosis, or for those currently receiving psychiatric or psychotherapeutic treatment. In such cases, I strongly recommend seeking immediate support from a specialized acute care facility or a psychiatric (psychosomatic) hospital. Your safety and well-being are the top priority, and these conditions require professional, in-person care.
