FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between counseling, coaching, and psychotherapy?
Counseling is designed to address specific questions or present challenges, helping to develop solutions and explore personal coping strategies. Coaching focuses on overcoming internal obstacles, setting goals, discovering strengths, and supporting clients in achieving their aspirations. Psychotherapy, however, involves in-depth diagnostics and is dedicated to the treatment of mental health and psychosomatic conditions.
How long do I need therapy?
This depends on several factors, such as how long the mental burdens have been present, how severe your suffering is, how extensive or present your personal resources are, or your motivation, curiosity, and time to deal intensively with yourself. The support of your personal environment is also very important. Therapy can last from 3 months to 6 months or even years.
Is this covered by insurance?
Some private insurance providers cover the full cost of psychotherapy. In this case, however, we would need to obtain pre-approval from your insurance provider.
